Stella's Gallery has great pleasure in introducing Ann-Marie Melito.
I am a Wiradjuri and Gamilaraay artist, bead worker and weaver from NSW. I blend
traditional and contemporary design and techniques to reflect the stories, history and heritage of my family and community.
I love to share my knowledge of Aboriginal arts and design to help others understand how they can bring themes of belonging and connection to their art forms. I created many healing objects and applied theme of symbolic images.
I aim that through art, I can heal the people and make a healthy community to build in around our society.
